The 26 routes described - in good detail - provide a good set of routes for a wide range of walkers.
19 of the routes are in the Mournes and will be well known to regular walkers and the other 7 are in the less well known Cooleys and Gullion area.
Each route is graded from a 'dander' to 33km challenges and readers can match them to their level of fitness.
I believe that this is a useful addition to any local walkers library.
Great variety of walking routes to take into account all abilities and of course the best scenery!
This book covers everything you need to know to make any trip to the Mournes a success. I found the route gradings particularly helpful. All these different routes are going to keep me busy, I can’t wait to buy more from this collection already!
